Recommendations for your stay
Lumbre Forest Lodge is located in the Cocora Valley at an altitude of approximately 2,200 meters above sea level. The average temperature is around 15°C (59°F), and nights can be cold, so we recommend bringing warm clothing.
Each room is equipped with heating and a hot beverage station for your comfort during your stay.
We are set in the heart of a unique natural environment, surrounded by wax palms and rich wildlife. This is a place where nature sets the rhythm, so we promote a quiet and low-impact atmosphere.
For this reason, the hotel lights are turned off at 9:00 pm, which is also when the main gate closes and bar service ends. We kindly ask guests to avoid loud noise during the evening in order to respect the surrounding environment and wildlife.
Check-in is available from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Check-out is at 11:30 am. To ensure proper preparation of the rooms, late check-out is not available.
HOW TO GET HERE?
By air:
To reach Glamping Lumbre, you can fly to Armenia, Pereira, Manizales, or Cali. From the airports in these main cities, you can take transportation to Salento and follow the instructions on the map below. By road:
From Bogotá: Arriving in Calarcá, follow signs toward Pereira. Once on the Armenia-Pereira main road (Autopista del Café), follow it until the exit to Salento. In town, follow the directions indicated on the map.
From Pereira o Medellín: Take the Pereira-Armenia road (Autopista del Café) to the Salento exit. In town, follow directions indicated on the map..
From Cali: Upon entering Armenia from the south, cross the city northward to take the road toward Pereira. Once on the Armenia-Pereira main road (Autopista del Café), take the exit to Salento. In town, follow directions
Once in Salento, take the road towards the Cocora Valley for 7 km. At kilometer 7, on the left, you’ll see a sign that says “Cascadas Cocora” (Cocora Waterfalls); that’s the entrance to the hotel. If you’re not driving, you can take a Willys Jeep from the main square in Salento, which runs every 15 minutes to Lumbre.
